Saturday's Headliner George Carlin.
This homecoming could have best been tagged
with the "many are cold but few are frozen" theme.
Friday night's Whizzers — MoFo's contest at the stadium was beer-able only because of adequate
amounts of spirits of both kinds.
Saturday's barbeque and rugby match brought
more of the same. With a chill factor of zero degrees
only the hearty souls and lovers of suds turned out.
The concert on Saturday night filled the new Fine
Arts Auditorium with an S.R.O. crowd, the group
Punch opened with a fine combination of vocal and
instrumental invention and was well received.
Afterwords Carlin quickly dispelled the old "Hippy-
Dippy Weatherman" image and went on to double-
jointedly exhibit long past fifth-grade techniques of
frightening ten year-old girls. Applause being the
best critic, he rated the pinnacle of the weekend
program.
Tabernash played the post-concert engagement.
