land, Iowa.
25—Thanksgiving is near. Are you going home? I leave at 6:30.
26—Nearly everyone leaves for home, and the place is deserted.
27—Thanksgiving Day. First snow of the season. Big feed for the few survivors. Turkey
and everything. Oh, Boy!
28—Snow and sleet. A good excuse for those returning late. "The trains weren't on time,
Father."
29—Dramatic Club presents "The Man of the Hour". "Mother" Code looked so nice and all
the young ladies of the West and East ends were here to see him, too; especially West.
30—Weather colder today. What's the matter with Mike? We don't see anyone sweating.
