Description

DR. JAMES LEONARD, D. D. S.
Dr. Leonard was one of the class of 1916, Academic Department, who has successfully completed
a course in higher educational work and has gone
into business for himself. In June, 1919, he received his degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery from
the State University of Iowa. On returning home,
however, he found it impossible to secure an office
in Davenport. Unwilling to leave the vicinity he
obtained an office in Bettendorf where he is practicing at present. As soon as room-space is more
abundant in the former city, he intends to return.
Dr. Leonard is progressing rapidly and has an
excellent practice. Lately he was elected President
of the Davenport Dental Association, an unusual
honor for such a young man. We wish this young
dentist success in his future which now promises to
be very bright.
DR. E. H. CARROLL, D. D. S.
Dr. E. H. Carroll is also one of our young
alumni who is making a name for himself. After
leaving St. Ambrose in 1911, he entered the Chicago College of Dental Surgery and received his
degree in 1915. While at this institution, the doctor was a member of the Xi Psi Phi fraternity.
Immediately after his graduation he returned to
Davenport where he opened his office. He is now a
popular, successful young man with a very good
practice.
We are more than happy to note not only Dr.
Carroll's splendid beginning in life but all other
young alumni. To him and to those others, while
firmly convinced of their worth, we extend the wish
that they may prosper and succeed beyond their
fondest desires.
