·  CLIP/Amana/Czech/IWA/St Ambrose/Drake description & links to/from IHDC website up

·  goal for number of entries established

·  compound objects & image “branding” implemented

·  UI Maps, African American, & Scott Co Historical begin entering data

·  install Multiserver software to link UI/Drake/St Ambrose/Davenport?

·  set metadata training day

·  Present project to Iowa OCLC Users May 28, Claudia/Nancy

 

By July 1

·  Add Grinnell Public? Simpson College? Others? to IHDC; Some to Drake server?

·  Hold training session for new pilot project participants

·  Begin to identify training needs/methods (metadata, scanning etc./in classroom, onsite/web-based, train trainers?)

·  begin developing training manual

 

By August 1

·  Draft training manual completed

·  Metadata charts completed for: Artifacts, artwork, audio, documents, photographs, maps, video, other?

·  IT/Website links to/from all pilot project collections & IHDC website

·  Survey work: Instruments drafted and tested (use current participants), finalize at August meeting

 

By November 1

·  Surveys conducted and analyzed

·  Identify any additional work

·  Add pilot project sites from western Iowa?

 

By December 1

·  Written report on survey results

·  Outline project proposal components/assign sections

·  Identify possible funding sources

 

By January 1, 2005

·  Project proposal draft completed
